Symptoms

This issue can occur when restarting the Managed Server.

Below are the steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Bring up the WLS Admin Console.
  2. Bring a managed server to RUNNING state.
  3. Access the Admin Console, and click the Lock & Edit button. Change the managed server listen address, and activate changes. You will see a hint that you need to restart the managed server for this to take effect.
  4. Go to View changes and restarts, and click the restarts tab.
  5. Select the managed server and click the restart button. The following exception shows up in the Admin console
