Invalid Credentials Results in Redirect Loop With Error 310 in OAM-OAAM 11g Integration (Doc ID 1470596.1)

Goal

Logging into OAM/OAAM protected resource with a valid username but invalid credentials fails eventually with Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS).

HTTP headers show that it's redirecting from oaam_server/error.do?action=error to loginPage.jsp, to login.do, and back to error.do?action=error and results in an infinite loop. Expected result is to return to login page
