OIM & OAM (both at 22.214.171.124.0) are integrated in accordance with the enterprise deployment guide. OAM is being used to provide web single sign-on for protected application as well as the OIM UI. By default when users are created in OIM the obchangepasswordflag is set to TRUE in OID. This causes users to be redirected to the OIM password reset page to change the password on first login. However, if OAM Windows Native Authentication (WNA) is used to log users on using Kerberos, this behaviour is not desirable.
Setting the XL.ForcePasswordChangeAtFirstLogin OIM system property to false does not appear to have an effect when OIM & OAM are integrated.
Is there a way to configure OIM/OAM so that obchangepasswordflag is FALSE by default?
Also, as an alternative, is there a way to disabled password management completely (so OAM does not redirect users to OIM to change their password at all) whilst still allowing the OAM to provide SSO for the OIM web interface?
Does the idmconfigtool OAM11G_OIM_INTEGRATION_REQ flag affect SSO, Password Management or both?
