An error message is signaled in ODI 184.108.40.206.0 when attempting to start the journal of a table with a column name having an infrequently used character (for example, the # character) using JKM Oracle 11g Consistent (Streams).
The legacy 10g workaround consisting in setting "" to the Object delimiter in the Language tab of the Oracle Technology in Topology > Physical Architecture no longer resolves the issue.
Indeed a table containing a column name such as COL#1 cannot be journalized and at journalization launch time the Check Tables step signals the following :
Upgrade from ODI 10g to ODI 11g.
