BPM Process Fails to Assign an Empty Value to a Process Variable (Doc ID 1475850.1)

When attempting to invoke an Oracle PL/SQL procedure using a database adapter within a BPM process, the following exception error message occurs:

Invalid value for assignment.
Unable to assign value  to data element cativouOuDescativouStockSTDO with type {}int.
Make sure target data element can hold values of that type or transform values to the appropriate type.
Contact oracle support to resolve the issue.
