Symptoms

When an application which uses the Universal Messaging Service (UMS) is deployed to a cluster, and the UMS is configured to retrieve messages from a server using the Post Office Protocol (POP), the oracle.sdp.messaging.driver.email module may log a pair of errors, SDP-26123 and SDP-25700. The second of these includes an exception:

<Error> <oracle.sdp.messaging.driver.email> <SDP-25700> <An unexpected exception was caught.
javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: The system was unable to log FMW HWF in. Maildrop opened for exclusive access by another user.
