Symptoms
When the ChunkedRead operation of the File Adapter is used to process larger files with COBOL Copybook style EBCDIC data, a rejection error occurs when the file has an invalid format.
As a result, the rejection is not working and the process terminates. The expected behavior is that the offending parts are rejected but the process continues as documented.
The following can be seen in the server log when the rejection fails:
