Unable to Copy/Paste Text Inside any Portlet when Using Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) (Doc ID 1481700.1)

Symptoms

When using WebLogic Portal (WLP) Dynamic Visitor Tools (DVT), the text inside a portlet cannot be selected in IE 8.  It can be selected in other browsers such as Firefox.  This is only true for the contents inside the portlet.  The header and the footer can be selected in both browsers.  The following screenshots show the issue in IE8 but show the selected text in Firefox.
