How To Retrieve The "shortHistory" From Each Task The BPEL Process Invoked? (Doc ID 1489020.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

"shortHistory" contains a brief history of what happened with the taskID including outcome, updatedby, comments, updateDate.

Since any change to a task generates a new BPEL version, it is important to query for the "max (highest value)" of the element called "Version" and retrieve the "shortHistory".   In other words, if there are 7 versions of a particular TaskID, the correct result is to retrieve the "shortHistory" from current version (ie: 7 in this scenario).  This is because only current version (ie: 7 in this scenario) retains the history for the current task.
