Java Application not being detected when using JRE 1.3 (Doc ID 1489623.1)

In ESSO-LM, the agent fails to detect the logon form for a windows application that runs as a java applet from within an internet browser (Internet Explorer).

The ESSO-LM agent should automatically detect the controls for the application and inject the credentials to authenticate the user.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create the template for the Java Application Template in the Administrative Console.
2. Publish the template to the repository
3. Synchronize the agent in a client machine (on Windows XP, with JVM 1.3)
4. Load the application in the client machine where the agent runs: the agent does not recognize the template.  If you use the 'Logon Using' option then SSO does finally respond to the java application.
