JSP Compilation Fails on Oracle GlassFish Server 3.1.x When Security is Enabled. (Doc ID 1489733.1)

Symptoms

The problem can be seen when you do the following:

 1) Enable security manager in server-config
 2) Comment out  this line in server.policy as below
 //    permission java.io.FilePermission       "<  3) Restart the GlassFish Server
 4) Deploy and launch a JSP or Servlet

 The following error is displayed on the browser and JSP compilation fails:
