Ops Center 12c Notification Profile Not Accepting Email Address Larger Than 30 Characters (Doc ID 1490286.1)

Symptoms

Ops Center 12c notification profile is not accepting email addresses larger than 30 characters.  The error seen is as follows:

 

To reproduce the issue, follow the steps below:

        1. Open Ops Center log in as the Administrator and navigate to:
                  Administration -> Enterprise Controller -> Local Users

        2. Next select : Users Tab -> (select a user)

        3. Click on "Configure Notification Profile" button
                 Select an Email subscription level = Warning
                      Then Click Next.

        4. Enter an email address longer than 30 characters in the email field

        5. Fill in the test of the field with appropriate mail host, post, etc...

        6. Select None from Connection Security pull down
                  Click Next
                       Click Finish


This will result in the following error:
