Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 11.1.1.5.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There are several tables where the date format is DD-MON-RR (dd-mm-yy) example: 10-Sep-12.

During creation of the GTC connector, used that format when configuring the connector dates:
• Target Date Format
• Source Date Format

In the Design Console in the form designer, configure the matching fields for pre-populate.

When attempting to provision a user, the following error is returned in the UI:
Response:
GCPROV.ProvTransportProvider.DBProvisioningTransport.DB_CREATE_PARENTRECORD_ERROR
Response Description:
A database error was encountered when inserting data into a parent table. Please check server log for more information.
