OAM 11R2 : Login To OAM Protected Resource Failed if TRACE Logger Is Enabled (Doc ID 1491027.1)

Login to OAM protected resource failed with the message "An incorrect Username or Password was specified" when TRACE:32 logger is turned on. The error is resolved when you switch the logging back to NOTIFICATION level. The setup uses OVD as a LDAP store.

Symptoms

Login to protected resource fails with

"An incorrect Username or Password was specified"

OAM diagnostic log shows following exception

 

Changes

 OVD (Oracle Virtual Directory) is used as ID Store. This error occurs, if OAM log level is witched from NOTIFICATION to higher level for troubleshooting purposes.
