When upgrading from WebLogic Portal (WLP) 8.1 to 10.3.2 and later, there can be security challenges due to functionality differences between the versions. For example, when a privileged user of a WLP domain is granted a new role, its security policy, and therefore entitlements, might not work for the user. However, all of the existing roles work for the privileged users. This document describes how to troubleshoot these types of issues.
