WLST sca_stopComposite command over SSL port enabled is not working: Exception:java.io.IOException.

In the documentation: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25178_01/web.1111/e13813/custom_soa.htm#CDEEEIAA mentions that the following syntax should be used to stop a composite:
sca_stopComposite(host, port, user, password, compositeName, revision,[label], [partition])

host Hostname of the Oracle WebLogic Server (for example, myhost).
port Port of the Oracle WebLogic Server (for example,7001).
user User name for connecting to the running server to get MBean information (for example, weblogic).
password Password for the user name.
compositeName Name of the SOA composite application.
revision Revision of the SOA composite application.
label Optional. Label of the SOA composite application. The label identifies the MDS artifacts associated with the application. If the label is not specified, the system finds the latest one.
partition Optional. The name of the partition in which the SOA composite application is located. The default value isdefault. If you do not specify a partition, thedefaultpartition is searched for the SOA composite application. However, no other partitions are searched.

This command is working over non-SSL port but it is not working over SSL port (SSL Listen Port Enabled).

The following error is encountered when trying to run the command over SSL port: Exception:java.io.IOException
