Can The OID Oracle Password Filter For AD Be Deployed Via Non-SSL / Without SSL and Certificates? (Doc ID 1496327.1)

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g or 10g (10.1.4).

Installing the Password Filter (PF) for password synchronization, but the documentation requires SSL and certiifcates which is not desired for this implementation, as both the AD Domain Controller (DC) and OID reside on the same network.

Is there a way to deploy the Oracle Password Filter for AD without SSL and certificates?

Is there a way to sync passwords to/from OID using non-ssl?
