Multiple LDAP Hosts Cause CsJpsErrorLoadingSecurityInfo !csUnableToExecMethod, hasNext Connection Refused (Doc ID 1496514.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 21, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the Webcenter Content domain, one Active Directory provider contains mulitple hosts.

This is documented in the Oracle® Fusion Middleware Securing Oracle WebLogic Server 11g Release 1 (10.3.6) -- Chapter 5 -- Configuring Failover for LDAP Authentication Providers

http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/e13707/atn.htm#i1199014

This can be used as a means of LDAP server failover.

As an example, in the config.xml file:

<wls:host>machine1.com:389 machine2.com:389</wls:host>

With the provider configured for multiple hosts, the following exception is generated when logging into WCC using any Active Directory user id:

[2012-05-16T15:07:41.349+00:00] [UCM_server1] [ERROR] [UCM-CS-000001] [oracle.ucm.idccs] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '7' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: orcladmin] [ecid: 8a4643c6e453bda5:-4fc2c8fc:1375610f92c:-8000-0000000000000207,0] [APP: Oracle WebCenter Content - Content Server] general exception[[
