Adding Items to Folio Through Search Sometimes Does Not Actually Add Item (Doc ID 1497247.1)

Symptoms

Using Internet Explorer, create a new folio using a template that contains at least one node. Expand the root and then click on one of the nodes and try to add an item by search.  The item does not get added.  

If you first click the plus sign on the node to expand the node before adding the item to the node, the item does get added correctly.

This issue does not occur when using Firefox.
