Reports 11g: Long Reports Cannot Display the Page However it Finished Per showjobs Page (Doc ID 1497720.1)

Symptoms

Reports Server 11.1.1.6
Reproducible with in-process reports server as well as with a new, fresh, standalone repserv11g
Reproducible in Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) port 8090 and WLS_REPORTS port 9002
Several Browsers : IE, Firefox and Google Chrome give same result.

There are certain reports failing after 30+ minutes.  Small reports runs fine.



The report finishes successfully per showjobs, but the webbrowser displays:

 


In order to allow the long reports to finish at reports server level the following changes were introduced and it helped to run reports for more than 5 minutes, but those that take more than 30 minutes are failing yet with "<Browser> cannot display the page". The changes applied were as follows:

 

a)  Per <Note 1122443.1> "Reports 11g : Duplicate Jobs Created Automatically for Long Running Reports", increased the timeout values, but the issue continues:


Changes in httpd.conf:

c)  Timeout increased at browser level.
