Web Center Sites Cluster Installs and Shared Directory Location (Doc ID 1498161.1)

Goal

  1. Should the Install directory be located inside the Shared directory, or vice versa, or are the independent of eachother?
  2. Is it possible for different cluster members of the same cluster to share the same installation directory?
  3. If installation of each cluster instance is necessary, should this be done by using the omii.ini file's CSInstallType=single parameter for the primary node and CSInstallType=cluster for the remaining ones (for silent installs), or it should we always use the value CSInstallType=cluster?
  4. Are there any reasons not to create a WebCenterSites cluster installation on a WeblogicServer cluster?
