Data Object doesn't get updated properly with the value of Task Payload

Problem statement and the scenario:-

If The process contains 2 process variables: customer_pdo based on cataloged WSDL and customerList_pdo defined as array of elements of the same type that user for the customer_pdo

The process passes both objects to a Human Task and receives them back untouched. However, during the result assignment, instead of the correct assignment of the customer_pdo data, one of the elements from the array in customerList_pdo is copied.

If you look the attached response.xml , notice that

while the customer_pdo shows CustomerID=002.
