Integrated OIM and OIA using the prefered integration method

This is not a technical issue, but more a functional question.
The documentation describes the mapping of OIM entities to OIA entities

Oracle® Fusion Middleware System Integrator's Guide for Oracle Identity Analytics 11g Release 1, Patch Set 1 (11.1.1.5) Part Number E23377-01
1 Integrating With Oracle Identity Manager, Preferred Method
1.3 Understanding Terminology in Oracle Identity Analytics and Oracle Identity Manager

When both applications are integrated using the preferred method,
 - it looks like the key of the entities shared between the two systems is the name of the entity.

For example, a resource type in OIA is mapped to a resource object in OIM.

After the integration has been completed, what happens if we change the name of the Resource Object in OIM.
 - Is the integration broken ?

This question is not answered by the documentation.
