After upgrading Oracle Portal to 220.127.116.11 users are seeing a 'Servlet Error' message in their browser when attempting to navigate to the Portal:
An unexpected servlet error was encountered.
Please check the log file for more details.
This is not happening for everyone, on every request, but seems to occur after a user has logged in or logged out.
Or after re-visting the Portal after the session has been left inactive after some time, i.e. the error can occur when re-visiting portal in a browser which has previously been used to login.
It has also been found that the issue can occur as the result of implementing GITO in the affected (upgraded) versions. It can also be seen in 18.104.22.168.0 Portals.
Upgraded to Oracle Portal 22.214.171.124 or later.
