Variable attributes stripped off after assignment when assigning string type variable to complex type variable in SOA Suite 126.96.36.199.
This worked fine in SOA Suite 10g, where the variable attributes were preserved.
Var1 : this is a string type variable -- say has a value 12345
Var 2: this is a complex type variable and it has attributes
When assigning "values" from Var1 to Var2 the "value" of Var1 gets assigned to Var2 , but all the attributes which were a part of Var2 are stripped off.
In the example above, the final value of Var2 after assignment is:
As a result, element was copied but the attributes were lost.
Copy operation should preserve attributes as well.
