Egate Transactions Not Processing (Doc ID 1505107.1)

On : 4.5.3 version, Core Product

Egate transactions not processing

Transactions from jCaps are broadcasted to Egate to be processed into eIndex. The transactions are not being processed by egate. The inbound and outbounds are displaying 0 transactions.

I am getting error “Failed to connect to TCP/IP destination [ [egate.ssg.org.au] : [5,656]” from the CAPS Domain which broadcasts transactions to egate on port 5656. Unix administrator has stopped and started the egate services several times before I have logged this call. Port 5656 is listening. There is a very small handful of transactions that will occationally get through but those will process and then the ewWHFSIn eway (on egate) which accepts the broadcast will go down. The eway is a tcpip connection (HL7) passthrough

I believe all the processes are running on egate as it should be.

Checking the eway log we saw it's full of below message:

Exceeded threshold for maximum out going NAK's: [30]
