You have a clean installation of GlassFish Server 188.8.131.52 that was installed from the GlassFish 184.108.40.206 full profile installation bundle. This issue should not impact installations of GlassFish Server that have been patched to 220.127.116.11, which are then being subsequently patched to later release.
When you attempt to patch the installation you see the follow error both from the updatetool:
