Unable To Expand Templates In Treetab (Doc ID 1506724.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

After importing 2 new templates to a brand new WebCenter Sites 11g bp1installation, we are unable to expand the + for the Templates Node in the Tree Tab.

When clicking on the tree tab this is written in the logs:

 [INFO ] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [fatwire.logging.cs.xml] E_LoadTree / init TEMPLATE TAB template count 2

Which is good as there are indeed 2 templates, however when clicking the + sign next to Template there is an error in the logs:

[ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [fatwire.logging.cs.xml] Failed to run template:OpenMarket/Xcelerate/AssetType/Template/LoadTree/load Loop list control undefined or empty: subtypes[Loop subtypes null null null]

Bad tag located within parent tag: else
 [ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [com.fatwire.logging.cs] Unable to evaluate element OpenMarket/Xcelerate/AssetType/Template/LoadTree/load
 [ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [fatwire.logging.cs.xml] Failed to run template:OpenMarket/Xcelerate/AssetType/Template/LoadTree
 [ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [com.fatwire.logging.cs] Unable to evaluate element OpenMarket/Xcelerate/AssetType/Template/LoadTree
 [ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [fatwire.logging.cs.xml] Failed to run template:OpenMarket/Gator/UIFramework/LoadTab
[ERROR] [.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [fatwire.logging.cs.request] COM.FutureTense.Common.ContentServerException: Unable to evaluate element OpenMarket/Gator/UIFramework/LoadTab Error code:UNABLE TO EVAL ELEMENT

These templates were imported via CSDT, the system is a fresh BP1 install with LDAP integration and there is only one site created in this instance.
