Reports are not getting updated with new data after a few days - TaskTracker crashed (Doc ID 1506896.1)

Symptoms

Reports are not showing any new data for the past few days. All of the analytics processes are still running (hdfsagent, hadoop-jobs, analytics.war, sensor.war, etc.), but noticed TaskTracker on hadoop is not running.

In the namenode log of hadoop, this error was found:

2012-06-27 15:19:21,559 INFO org.apache.hadoop.mapred.TaskInProgress: Error from attempt_201207151235_0852_r_000000_0: Lost task tracker: tracker_analyticstest.oracle.com:localhost.localdomain/127.0.0.1:52080
