JVM Crash Due to Loading /usr/lib/ (Doc ID 1508080.1)

On Java SE 7 update 5, when attempting to deploy an application, the following error occurs:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. start WLS server
2. deploy the application
3. watch the jvm crash
