Last updated on OCTOBER 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

This document describes how to confirgure an Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11g Identity Asserter provider in a WebLogic Server security realm using WLST.

Steps that are followed are:

connect (adminUser,adminPassword,'t3://'+adminServerHost+':'+adminServerPort)
edit()
startEdit()
createOAMIdentityAsserter(name=<OAM_IDENTITY_ASSERTER_NAME>)
updateOAMIdentityAsserter(name=<OAM_IDENTITY_ASSERTER_NAME>, ssoHeaderName="OAM_REMOTE_USER")
cd('/SecurityConfiguration/'+domainName+'/Realms/'+securityRealm+'/AuthenticationProviders/'+<OAM_IDENTITY_ASSERTER_NAME>)
cmo.setControlFlag('REQUIRED')

Nevertheless, when trying to set the ActiveTypes:

cmo.setActiveTypes(jarray.array(['ObSSOCookie', 'OAM_REMOTE_USER', 'OAM_IDENTITY_ASSERTION'], java.lang.String))

An error is displayed:

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: The requested attribute is not exposed through JMX: setActiveTypes

So the question is why the attribute setActiveTypes is not exposed through JMX for the provider OAMIdentityAsserter
