Sudo command on Linux x86-64 Oracle Linux 6 (OEL6) fails with:

$ sudo -l
Sorry, try again.
Sorry, try again.
Sorry, try again.
sudo: 3 incorrect password attempts

 

In comparison, another working server of same platform/OS and same configuration works as expected, as follows:

$ sudo -l
[sudo] password for myuser:
Matching Defaults entries for arajan on this host:
  !visiblepw, always_set_home, env_reset, ignore_local_sudoers, requiretty

User myuser may run the following commands on this host:
  (ALL) ALL
$
