Exception during CSDT export: Attribute {attribute} is required for AssetType {asset type} and can not be null (Doc ID 1509091.1)

When exporting assets with the Developer Tools (CSDT), the following exception is seen in the logs:

[2012-11-29 11:38:45,487 CST] [INFO ] [http-18080-7] [com.fatwire.csdt] SKIPPING dependency TestAsset_D:<assetid> since already exported.
