Portal 10.1.4.2 To 11.1.1.6 Upgrade Fails On SVU Inconsistencies In Post Upgrade SVU Execution (Doc ID 1509709.1)

Symptoms

When upgrading from Oracle Portal 10.1.4.2 to 11.1.1.6 the Metadata Repository upgrade fails due to Inconsistencies Reported in the Post Upgrade SVU:

# Validate if style background image exists in the document table

The Pre SVU executed during the upgrade shows the following inconsistencies reported.

# Validate if the documents in wwdoc_document$ table have corresponding entries in wwv_things and in wwv_docinfo tables
# . Inconsistency: Number of documents in wwdoc_document$ table which do not have corresponding entries in wwv_things and in wwv_docinfo tables = 35
# . Delete from the document and WebDAV tables
# .. Number of rows deleted from wwv_docinfo table = 0
# .. Number of rows deleted from wwdoc_document$ table = 35
# .. Number of rows deleted from WebDAV table = 0

...

# . Inconsistency: Number of security ACLs that need to be deleted = 65
# .. Number of rows deleted = 65
