Goal

How to verify a browser certificate is passed to the OAM WLS managed node tier at an http layer

Before setting up and configuring OAM 11g to use X509 authentication, it is a best practice to test and verify that at the http layer the client cert from the browser is being passed to the OAM WLS managed node layer. Until this test is successful, do not attempt to setup/configure OAM X509 certificate authentication. Note this same test can also be used if OAM x509 authentication has already been setup and you see similar errors in the OAM diagnostic log seen below...
