After adding a new UDFD field to the modify-user form (via the standard OIM11gR2 ADF-based customizations) the form Submit button is not enabled when trying to modify a user. But modification of other user form fields will enable the Submit button.
Note: It is not yet clear if this is a bug or a limitation of the composer function. Not all changes given below can be performed using Composer. Due to certain limitations in Composer, entering the EL expression will cause Composer to throw an error. Also, certain customizations, such as cascading LOVs, are not supported by Composer.
This article will provide workaround for the issue of how to enable the submit button on addition of a UDFD field to the modify-user form
