'time out while waiting for a managed process to stop' Signalled When Attempting to Stop ODI Standalone Agent Running Under OPMN (Doc ID 1519642.1)

When attempting to stop an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Standalone Agent running under OPMN, the following message is signaled:

opmnctl stopproc: stopping opmn managed processes...
  1 of 1 processes stopped.

ias-instance id=<MACHINE_NAME>

--> Process (index=1,uid=<PROCESS_UID>,pid=<PROCESS_PID>)
  time out while waiting for a managed process to stop second stop attempted


 The agent process is forcibly interrupted rather than stopping gracefully.
