Oracle HTTP Server Fails to Start After Applying 10.1.2.2.0/10.1.2.3.0 Patchset And Upgrading AIX to 6100-07-06-1241 (Doc ID 1519794.1)

Oracle HTTP Server - Version 10.1.2.3 and later
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (32-bit)
Applies to any OracleAS 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.3) product which includes Oracle HTTP Server, for example Forms, Discoverer, etc.

Symptoms

Following the patching of AIX to 6100-07-06-1241, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) fails to start.

Nothing is logged to the OHS Logs.

Oracle Process Manager and Notification Server (OPMN) reports the following on a command line startup:

 

Changes

AIX 6.1 was patched to 6100-07-06-1241.
No changes were made to the Oracle software.
