Weblogic is not shutdown until it reaches the default timeout - 60 minutes (Doc ID 1520754.1)

Last updated on JUNE 29, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When gracefully shutting down a server, the server goes to SUSPENDING state first to wait for non-replicated sessions to finish.

The server does not shutdown until it reaches the default timeout - 60 minutes (3600 seconds).

-Dnet.sf.ehcache.enableShutdownHook is currently set.

What is the recommended approach to clean shutdown the server and not to corrupt cache on disk?
