How to Set Up Administrative Login To Oracle Enterprise Gateway Policy Studio To Use Active Directory or LDAP
(Doc ID 1520887.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 07, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.1.6.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When using Oracle Enterprise Gateway, it is sometimes desirable to use Active Directory or LDAP to authenticate and perform Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) of the system's Management Services, rather than using the default local Policy Director (PD) user store for authentication. This is true if it is desirable to have Policy Studio log into the Gateway using Active Directory.
The setup of this requires a series of configuration steps to be performed. The purpose of this note is to present these configuration steps so the task can be accomplished successfully.
