Upgrading Oracle Database For OAAM From 10.2.0.5 To 22.214.171.124 - Commit_write is Deprecated, how to address this?

The database for OAAM (Oracle Adaptive Access Manager) has an init.ora parameter commit_write='BATCH,NOWAIT' as per Oracle Adaptive Access Manager Installation and Configuration Guide Release 10g (10.1.4.5).
That document states:
For 11g, set the commit_write initialization parameter to "NOWAIT."
It seems the commit_write parameter has been deprecated and now there are two potential parameters that can be used: commit_logging and commit_wait. What is the correct parameter?
