Symptoms

Customers have reported being unable to install Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.6. When running the installer as:

The WebLogic Server installation always fails right after the step asking for selection of "Custom" or "Typical," when proceeding to the installation and pressing the NEXT button.

Changes

There were several previous attempts to install Oracle WebLogic Server in the same Middleware Home. Specifically, WebLogic Server 12c had been installed and successfully removed using the uninstall script.
