Symptoms
Web Cache 11.1.1.6 is configured with 2 origin servers, one on the local host and another on a remote host.
On occasions requests via the Web Cache server fail with "No Response from Application Web Server" errors, as they are unable to be routed to the remote origin servers. The "Health Monitor" within Web Cache Manager always shows the status of the remote origin server as "UP"
