The Resources Cannot Be Unallocated From Accounts In Exalogic Control (Doc ID 1526226.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 06, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version to
Linux x86-64

In Exalogic Control v2. release computing resources cannot be unallocated or lowered from the assigned accounts.

Once computing resources have been assigned to an account, there is no way to take part of them back and assign them to another account or lower the resource limits.  This is true even when the assigned resources are highly under-subscribed (=not really used).

For example this is true for the resources:

- vCPU
- Memory
- Diskspace Quota
- IP address ranges
