Removing Contribution Approve Action From Workflow Content Action History Display (Doc ID 1526503.1)

Goal

Given a workflow with a contribution step and a few other steps, when a document is contributed, a workflow history report is shown in the workflow info page.

In looking at the Workflow History page it appears that the Checkin and Approve actions happened at the same time when in actuality the document is moved to the next step after checkin and there is no "Approval' action carried out at the contribution step.

How can this contribution "Approval" action row be removed from the Workflow Content Action History display?
