Symptoms

Your replicat process has been working properly without incidents and suddenly it abends with errors


2013-01-21 09:27:35 WARNING OGG-00869 OCI Error calling OCITransCommit (status = 942-ORA-00942: table or view does not exist), SQL<UPDATE "CHECKPOINT" SET last_update_ts = sysdate, seqno = :seqno, rba = :rba, audit_ts = :audit_ts WHERE group_name = :group_name AND group_key = :key>.
2013-01-21 09:27:35 WARNING OGG-01003 Repositioning to rba 4629969 in seqno 1080.


Checkpoint table is accessible at database level by GG replicat database user.

Changes

 Recently an on-commit materialized view has been created referencing a replicated table.
