FRM-92102 and HTTP response code: 500 when Trying to Add/Edit More than 2000 Characters in a Long Forms Field

Symptoms
Text items in a Forms application, defined as long Data type, generate FRM-92102 when trying to add/edit more than 2000 characters.
The number of characters varies between different text items but usually is around 2000 characters.
There is no update or insert to the database. The problem occurs as soon as the text item is edited with more than 2000 characters.
AForms Trace shows that the Form throws the error while trying to perform [NETWORK.WRITE] events.
Issue occurs only when using the HTTP port.
It does not occur with the WLS_FORMS port.
