Information in this document applies to any platform.
In a new Oracle Tuxedo Monitoring Console TSAM 10gR3 installation, when using URL http://<HostName>:<Port>/tsam to access TSAM Manager, a 500 error is gotten from TOMCAT and not log in page is shown.

- This TSAM installation uses TOMCAT that is bundled with the TSAM installer.
- This TSAM installation connects to an Oracle Database.
- TSAM database deployment was done as described in Deploying Oracle TSAM Databases documentation.
- After TSAM was installed web.xml was changed in tsam.war to connect to the database and server.xml was changed to utilize a desire port number as described in Deploying Oracle TSAM on Apache Tomcat Server documentation.
