Symptoms
You are using the FrameworkFolders component.
You have a folder structure like:
Folder1
SubFolder1
Content Item1
Content Item2
SubFolder1b
Content Item3
Content Item4
You propagate some metadata values down from Folder1. After propagation, all of the content items have been moved to the deepest subfolder in the tree (in this example, to Subfolder1b)
In the example above, items are appearing as follows after propagation:
Folder1
SubFolder1
SubFolder1b
Content Item1
Content Item2
Content Item3
Content Item4
