Error "libproxy.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32" is Seen When Starting Oracle iPlanet Web Server?

Example:

failure (10242): CORE2253: Error running Init function load-modules: dlopen of /path/lib/libproxy.so failed (ld.so.1: webservd: fatal: /path/lib/libproxy.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32)
